International agreement on road transport contracts
The CMR are a set of contractual rules that regulate the transport of goods by road within Europe and beyond. Through the participation of several countries, they create a uniform procedure, which should enable a simplified process in daily business. The CMR regulate, among other things, the organizational process of a transport between the parties involved, such as the settlement of payment, general obligations of the carrier, or clarification of liability in case of damage.
